new member/ yellow fender

HI. i'm a new member, have been reading TDR for sometime now. like the book,like the web site, LOVE the truck. the wife and i are very proud of our choice. My problem is our fender turning yellow from the soot . I've washed the fender in degreaser, waxed the fire out of it, no luck our dealer has offered to repaint the fender. We just added an exhaust extension to help prevent any further damage

Nothing the dealer would do about it. Had a buddy wet sand and repaint the fenders, also used a real hard clear coat.
