Just dropping in to say hello as I have been lurking here for some time. Bought my 94 reg cab 4X4 new and it is by far the best truck I have ever owned. I did have a 71 Chev 3/4 ton longhorn that was also a fine truck. What else has the kind of power, ride and economy as supplied by DC!!! The weak link is certainly the transmission of which I had my fair share of problems, but even with that I have been happy with the truck and plan to keep it for some time yet. Am looking forward to do a little bombing this spring as all the necessary trans mods have been looked after. This is a great web site and I look forward to contributing where I can.

Welcome, be careful, I owned a 90 Cummins for ten years and when I sold it, it was still stock. Bought this 2000 in Dec of 1999 and joined the TDR, I now have about $4000 in upgrades and still trying to justify doing more. Great Site!!! Jack

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I will be doing the guage package first and then possibly the fuel plate later this spring in time for the summer season of camping etc. I am a little leary of increasing the HP too much for fear of putting too much stress on the auto trans. Although I would love to trade up to the new six speeds, mine is paid for and it is hard to justify paying the difference. Hmmmmm come to think of it rationalizing the purchase of a new vehicle has never been a problem before... ... . hmmmmmm
