I just bought my first CTD last week, a 93 D-350 dually with 4. 11s and the infamous Getrag and 300,000 on the clock. It's had a transmission replaced and a head gasket in its life, but that's about all the major maintenance done to it. What really impressed me was when I took it to the Colorado Emissions place and they dyno'ed it at 146 HP on the 5th gear test and 0. 0% opacity on all tests.

Since the valve cover has 160 HP on it, losing 14HP to the driveline is acceptable.
