green 4-door

I saw a Green 4-door (conversion) pre-98 dually here on KAFB. I am pretty sure I saw a TDR licsense plate. not sure though. Nice conversion however.

Gee, I drive from the west side to Belen every day and see lots of Dodges, (one is a twin to mine) but never see a TDR sticker anywhere.

I'm stuck in Texas for the next 3 months (home on weekends) but my wife'll be driving the truck (sure beats the heck out of driving a renter malibu).

Look for the big Cummins "C" in red, white, and blue in the rear window. (Pix in my reader's rig gallery).

By the way, anybody see Joe Donnelly yet? I heard he was moving to Albuquerque. Love to meet him and look at his trucks!

Anybody know if there are any TDR get-togethers here?

..

Hmmm, I drive north from los lunas everyday and have never seen your truck. Funny how we could miss each other.

I'm usually heading through Los Lunas on I-25 around 6:30 in the morning and back up from Belen around 5:00 in the afternoon. I'll be looking for you, though. My boy lives in Los Lunas with his mother so I'm through there from time to time. Look for the "C":

There has been TDR gatherings, "Sandia Showdown" at Auge's the past few years. I've missed the last two unfortunately; they're usually around balloon fiesta time and hope to catch this years if it happens.

I swapped a couple e-mails with Donnely a few months back. Talked about areas of town or outskirts to live in, areas that would allow a couple trucks to be parked outside without the neighbors complaining, and room for a dyno... Oo. Would be nice.

I run between Rancho and Sandia Labs when I'm not car pooling. Have run into most TDR folks at Auge's and met with a couple others one Saturday. I need to snag a couple TDR stickers myself, I guess I'm in stealth mode...

Thats weird! I drove on I-25 north every mornin, left house at 6:15 or so. I was probably around Isleta exit at 6:30. I will look for the "C". Oh, I also drive a little yellow truck with blue racing stripes, cant miss it.

Hey guys, We are trying to have a dodge get-together. Not all TDR members, and not all cummins, but let me know if you are interested, I would love to meet you guys!

If and when I am in town I'd be up for it. I have been on the road for 7 weeks now (without my truck!) but I'm home on the weekends. Let me know if there's interest!

I do the drive from Belen to Sandia daily, but 99% of the time in my low brow commuter car. I drive my 03 2500 QC 4x4 to work only as a treat now and then. I usually run with several CTDs between about 5:30 and 6:00 am. Mine is a white SLT, pretty plain, but the 5" polished exhaust tip gives it away. I'm running bigger BFG ATs on stock aluminum wheels. Also have a TDR sticker on the passenger side window, and a Banks sticker on the tailgate (so powerstrokers can read it).

I'm always strapped for time, spending most leisure time at what remains of our biggest lake, but wouldn't mind meeting some other NM CTD fans.

Im drivin a little later than you are. Mine is red, all red, with a 2000 sport bumper. No emblems at all. Have Boyds wheels, and 285's, slash cut tip (not chrome). Have a pee-on-banks sticker in the back window.

Hmmm, I spend time at the lake verrrrry often. Where abouts you camp (im talking E. butte)?

When at Elephant Butte we always park somewhere in the vicinity of Hot Springs Cove. Easy access and all. For the past two years, we've been camping in a 1978 travel trailer. We have an 03 Chapparal 22 foot runabout, white with yellow accents and yellow top. There's always a CJ-5 at our camp too. It's metallic brown, 350 chevy, granny low transmission. This year there will be a copper colored CJ-7 and maybe a light gold Jeep Wrangler hanging out too.

This coming weekend we'll be camping in a new (almost) '02 28 ft Tahoe fifth wheel. We just picked it up on Sunday. The Dodge pulls it real well.

If you see us, stop by.

Where do you usually camp?

Later

Used to camp at 3-sisters, but as you know thats not happenin anytime soon now. I now usually camp at long point, lost canyon, or hot springs. I wont be there this weekend (goin to Las Vegas for the fastest street cars in america) but will be there the next for the balloon rally. I've got a Tunnel Hull pickelfork boat (orange/yellow/white) with an outboard, My dads got a red/silver Baja open bow, Im usually there with my Yellow club Cab Power Wagon on 40's, an orange power wagon, and also usually a Black/Purple Jeep scrambler with a 454 and 39" mickey thompsons. Were usually in a 34' Bounder motorhome. I'll keep an eye out for ya. If you happen to see me, stop and say hi also.

Sounds cool. I'm pretty sure I know of the Jeep. I see it there a lot. One of the coolest around. We'll keep an eye out for you all.

Have fun in Vegas.

Hey WRStrong, You by any chance work in TAIII? (you'll know what I'm talking about if you do)

I think I remember seeing you out there now that I think about it.

I used to several years back. Now I work in TA-V after a few years in TA-1. How about yourself?

P. S. The lake was awesome.

P. P. S We should probably use PM instead of this thread... although traffic doesn't seem to be a problem. Maybe we can get some other New Mexico TDR people to start posting.

Im in RMSEL (895). I bet the lake was nice, good weather. You goin this comin weekend? Well be there, probably on rattlesnake island.

I dont know if you are interested, but the dodgetruckworld website is trying to have a new mexico get together. let me know if any of you guys are interested in participating.

If it's on a weekend when I am in town I would drop in. Let me know a day and place, and I'll do my best to be there.

so far, its tenatiavely scheduled for the 25th of sept, at like 10:30 (A. M. , i believe) at hooters on alameda. then they want to take pics in the old home depot across the street. Im not to wild about it, though. Los Lunas is a long way from alameda!!!

IF all goes well, I'll be there. I live by St Pius so it's a lot shorter for me!

Let me know if anyhting changes.

Juan

11 A. M at the hooters on alameda on the 25th of sept. anyone is welcome to come, even family if you so desire.

I may try to make it. I'll tell my buddy too. He just bought a new CTD 600.

I just about had my fill of parking lot car shows back when I was in to Street Rods, but this sounds a little different.

Thanks for passing along the info.
