Could you SRW Auto guys handle a DRW 6 speed guy?

Hey, Im not an auto.

By the way, They DID have a solar yellow dually at auges one day. 6 speed even. It was flat out awesome. It makes me mad that they only mad 2nd gens solar yellow in half tons. Yellow is my color.

Welcome Ben. There is a guy in Los Lunas who has 2 chevy 4-doors with CTD's in them. I am trying to get him to join.

the chapter paperwork is getting filed here pretty soon! then it will be official!

So would you guys like 5hp stickers, or the big 10 hp versions???

Our local diesel expert (Joe D. ) has agreed to be our Event Coordinator. Oo.

I have two offers for a VP, soooooooooo,

Is anyone good with money (I know a stupid question  )????????? We need a Treasurer!!!

Now, I dont think the treasurer will be doing much of anything for a while. I think for starters, we need to do small events, such as the meets we've been having and see how turnout is. I would also like to maybe do something at the auges car show in June (maybe a truck section), and I think Joe mentioned that Robert Auge has already asked for us to do something when the 06's come out.

when we get more members the officers will probably play a larger role.

For now, we should probably stay fun and simple, with emphasis on FUN.

sounds like we have a good thing going here guys! glad to see the participation, i will be willing to help in anyway i can pwerwagn but am a lil shy about being a coordinator on this thing, and no i am not good with money, my truck is though.

I already have a 5hp sticker on the rear of my Ram but I also have a couple 10hp stickers. I also have a TDR sticker that JD gave me a few months ago that says "Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Fords". I had it laying on the dash of my Ram when I was working at the local Ford Dealer as a service advisor.

I have a TDR sticker that says "Diesel Inside" and another that says "Got Diesel?".

I have a few regular TDR stickers for members also.

this may be a stupid question but what are you guys talking about when it comes to the 5hp and 10hp stickers? i added one and didnt feel any difference at all :-laf but really, tdr sticker sizes or what?

anytime, and now that i know we have a farmington guy, we may have to meet up this next rockcrawling season! how about hunting out there, that may be next on my list, are you in the know??? :D

Looks like this local chapter thing is starting to gel. I told pwerwagn that I would sign up for treasurer. I have some experience from a hotrod club a few years ago. That club grew so big (and political) it was hard to remember that it was supposed to be fun. Listen to pwerwagn about keeping the emphasis on fun and friendship. We all have day jobs already, right? If we can enhance the hobby and help each other out when needed, that's all the better. :)

i agree 100% fun needs to be key, me and the wagn were talkin the other day about four wheeling clubs becoming political and just plain "not about fun" so hopefully there will be no *****ing moaning or other pita issues that will come up. with that said, lets have fun and come home to momma smelling like fuel! Oo.

Welcome our new Treasurer, Warren!! (WRstrong)

Yes, I have seen and been a member of too many clubs that became more of a "job" than fun. I do not want this to be that way. I mean heck, even if it justs ends up a group of guys going to lunch, and maybe a show or two throughout the year, so be it. This shouldnt be a second "job" to anyone. Just pure 100% fun.

Does anyone want a more jazzier name than:

New Mexico Turbo Diesel Register?

(wcaldwell suggested "Rio not-so-grande TDR)

If you do, make suggestions.

Also, will each of you send me an email to -- email address removed -- with your name (first, last), email, address and ph #? (if you dont want to give your address or ph#, thats ok with me)

That "Rio Not So Grande" was meant toung-in-cheek since this Rio definitely is NOT Grande. I think calling our chapter NMTDR would be perfect.

i agree, i like the simplicity and just the sound of new mexico turbo diesel registry. although i am up for suggestions maybe something more catchy will come by, who knows?

Im surprised LOtero didnt mention "Lost boys TDR". Didnt you used to have a Lost boys sticker in the winsheild of you scout????

I've got LOtero and wcaldwell's info.

holy crap wipe the dust off of that one  yea i had forgot about that! that was when i was a young whippersnapper! lost boys was a lil 4X4 club i was in he he he thats funny! oh and by the way i will send your email to mario, and already have to eric, i am still trying to get those cheap arses to join!
