Those look good now the only problem is finding 18" or 20" wheels with the correct backspacing. Any suggestions anyone?

the mtz's look like they would be a pretty good tire in winter in snow, but no 17" option yet [i was thinking of getting some interco trxus m/t 33" for winter maybe???]

I do tire testing for mickey thompson and I'm testing the new ATZ 315 13. 50 17. So far I love it. Plenty of siping. Also a load range E. They will be out soon.

I ran those for awhile in 285's. They are great in the snow and on ice but they only lasted 24k before the front two developed bulges. They were close to the wear bars at that point though. The rubber is really soft. You can push the lugs over with your fingers.

not all that big an issue if the tires are priced right. i don't want a tire that will last forever. if they would be good for 2-3 winter seasons as a dedicated winter tire, that is all i would want out of them. if they still have tread on them when i change them out, i'd keep the best as a spare and sell/give away the rest. winter safety comes before tire life for me. .

I run the Truxxus on my jeep. I am thinking the tread would wear a lot quicker on something this heavy, but they look like they will roll 80K on my Jeep with heavy off road use. They are magic in snow and ice and fairly quiet for such an aggresive tread.
