Just had a transmission service and had my mechanic move my temp sensor to in line. Boy! what a difference in temps. Originally had I had it in the right rear of the transmission and hardly ever say anything over 175 on the hottest days and hardest pulls towing 8k and 150 around town and up around 200 when backing the TT. Now running empty at 70mph I see a constant 150 and when I pull off the freeway I can see the temps climb to about 180. Inline I think I'm getting a better read on the actual temps. Also, I have a pullrite hitch, and when I had my 4" exhaust installed I had to really lower it to clear the hitch which meant it was abour 8'' off the ground. While it was in for service I had them move the tail pipe just forward of the rear tire and had a 5" tip put on it. Boy! What a woofer. Nice deep tone; a little loud around town but ok a cruising speeds.
