The new trackbar made a world of difference on my 01 with 50K. I felt the difference before I made it out of my driveway. After working on it for 45 minutes trying to get it out and much swearing, I thought I had made a mistake doing it myself, but patience prevailed and it finally dropped.

The new liftpump and the winter fuel drivability issue/hardstarting TSB reflash is another story. Not sure yet if OK, even though I told my dealer not to reflash. I cannot hear the pump at all when turning key to on or bumping the starter. Is that normal???? I guess I will have to check if they connected the plug.

Does anyone have any experience with this TSB on an ETH good or bad???

It sound like your pusher pump is going. You should hear the pusher pump for about 20 seconds (if you bump the starter).

What is your fuel pressure?

Glad to hear the trackbar was worth the effort :) I believe the liftpump should buzz when first turning the key unless the new ones are different (Dodge Different :D!?) My 01 ETH starts right away hot or cold and the liftpump always buzzes

What is the Moog part #?

FTB87,

The liftpump is new and does not buzz. I did hear a teeny little chirp this evening while checking for correct reassembly. I also did check the pump pressure this evening and it was 15PSI vs the old one at 9PSI, both taken at idle. So it seems to work. The strange thing is that they did not do a pressure test before ordering it. Perhaps DC is learning that it is cheaper to replace liftpumps than injection pumps. I did have the usual paranoia about the dealer working on truck, but they they did a good job on this.

The TSB seems to make the truck run a little quieter when cold. It must have different injection timing??? My only concern is fuel mileage. I am very happy with the fuel mileage I have been getting.

Thanks for the pep talk on the trackbar. The part number is DS-1413, purchased from Carquest which owns MOOG or something. It does have the lifetime warrenty.
