I am planning on buying a 04' 325/600 complete motor with 10 miles on it to drop into my 93. I know someone has already done this but I was wanting to know how they wired it, special brakets, and how big of a deal is it. I can either spend the money rebuilding my old VE motor or spend abought the same amount on the new CR.

My vote is biased but I'd spend the money on your current motor. Why do you have to or need to rebuild your current motor? IMO why would ya want all the electronics, expensive bombing, etc etc? Seems to me a 1st gen just layed down 627hp 1300ftlb, so I'm sure the ole VE can do ya more.

Well I have thought hard abought the issue, and I dont have to rebuild the entire block just the top side. I am just getting a real goooood deal on this new motor and it is getting real hard to get performance parts for the grandfather motor. I know the VE started the whole dodge diesel crowd so it is hard to not stay with it.

A fellow from Ca. came to MM 2004 with a 1990 that had a 2003 engine in it. It was a lot of work computer-wise but a nice result. in TDR#45, p. 133, Mike Smith, Visalia, CA.
