Biggest Sporting Deal in History ---

Norcal 3.8

If this is possible, I haven't figured it out yet. We bought the Nano in Houston while on Christmas vacation. We put a bunch of songs on it from the Mom-in-laws computer. Now, we are home in Nebraska and I got iTunes installed a few days ago.

Is there a way to take the songs from the Nano and put them into the library on the computer? I figured out how to go from the library to the nano, but can I go the other way?

Thanks,
technicallychallengedSteve

with I-Tunes, I don't think so. There are a few other sites for the I-Pod, maybe it can be done with them. Google search...

I'll hook up mine now and see what I can do...

I just tried, no good. If I come across something I'll let ya know.

Maybe someone else knows if it can be done...

Click on the above it is the link you want to go to and download the program.

You will then be able to copy the songs on your ipod to your computer, then you can copy them to the itunes library.

I use anapod explorer. I run all MP3's, nothing from Itunes. Anapod makes your Ipod look like another drive in Explorer. I have added both movies and songs.

When you copy stuff with Anapod it asks you if you want to add it to the play list and everything.

Pretty much what SHAREPOD does, you don't need itunes if you run SHAREPOD, you can add movies, playlists even play your mp3 and 4's on your computer via your ipod. Best part is it is shareware. If you are going to run both SHAREPOD and itunes, you need to turn off the autosync in itunes.

I use Anapod too, works great. The only problem I have now is that if I want to update the software in my Ipod I have to have Itunes... Apple did away with the seperate updater a while back.
