Thanks for the info. I really dug my ETH/DEE and regreted selling it the moment I did it. I got a screamin deal on it and it makes my stomach turn everytime I think about it. Oh well...

Does this mean all the old 5 speeds are bad since they have the same size input shaft?
 
There is a TDR member that pulls with his 99 DEE and w/small input shaft and does very well with it!

In fact probably a better running truck than most trucks on TDR.
 
I have a 2000/6speed, same as the '99/6-speed. I have plenty of hooks on my setup, small input shaft and all. The only problem is clutch availabilty. Enterprise makes one but you can't really get a SERIOUS pulling clutch unless you change the input.
