I just purchased a 2001 24 valve and I want to take care of fuel pressure issues before I put the truck into service. The truck is bone stock, 120,000miles automatic.
I know a fuel pressure gauge is a must but am a little confused on supply pump or lift pump. (In the tank, out of tank?) I have been looking at the Fass products offered by Genos. I plan to keep the truck stock except for air intake and exhaust. I know this has been covered on this site, but I'm looking for a step by step game plan and products to purchase to solve the fuel pressure problem, but at the same time not waste money on overkill. Is there anything else I should check out or take care of before I put this truck to work. By the way it is a 55 block so I'm good there. Thanks for your time.
