This is my first cummins though I've drove diesels for ever. 99' 4x4 with the early Van Alken box plugin, stock air box w/ k&N, banks exhaust (with muffler welded in backwards?), banks big head wastegate, banks gauges, BD pressure lock, BD exhaust brake w/trans controller, a billet TQ (not sure who's). So it runs great, goes like hell, and tows great (make all my fords buddies gripe), to the point my friend with a 05' Ford 6. 0 paid for a dyno run after I spanked him. With a paper filter and TQ locked 290HP and 630lbs.

So I run at 32lbs(easy) boost and 900F(work hard) post turbo and here are the questions. 1. Stock injectors or not? 2. Can i stack a programmer (after FP gauge). 3. How do the electronics compare, I understand there are towing and race modules. I like fast, but I tow and like my economy. 4. and yes it's a 55 block, but can I tell if its the original VP-44? (138k) Somebody loved this truck, and I do too! Thanks guys!

With the early va box I also had stock air box k/n dual exaust after banks muffler and 5 speed I dynoed @ 252 hp 522 lb-ft, so your numbers look good to me! Truck would pull like heck and made several p-strokes cry, since then my va box went out, had fass put in along with new vp44 and bd 50 hp injectors, will get new edge soon along with a clutch and dyno again.

Thanks for the responses, still wondering if I can stack eith the early VA, if I would have (if I have) stage 1, 2? injectors. And is the a way to figure out if my VP-44 is original? Guess I need to find the old owner. Thanks for the help!
