would a boost elbow help?

just signed up!!!

Well, I'm finally on this forum!

I've been lurking since before I got my first CTD about 3 weeks ago. The info on the forum helped me decide to get the Dodge. The employee price and ability to get a 3500 dually 4x4 for about the same as Ford and Chevy 3/4 tons helped also!

Well, here's the truck - 3500 DRW QC SLT Silver 4x4. Only non-stock items are the brake controller, nerf bars and torgue-lift camper tie downs. I also am awaiting the IGEE synthetic leather seat covers - should be here later this week.

Love the truck so far. Took my time on break in before I towed 4 mules up mountain passes. I'm getting about 16. 2 mpg around town when not towing. I hope this will go up a little after more breaking in. Haven't yet decided about enhancing the performance as yet. I'm very impressed with the power of this truck.

Do any of these enhancements improve gas mileage? Do they effect the warranty?

I'm looking forward to chatting with you all as I learn about this truck.

Welcome to the site! Congrats on the truck and I wouldn't worry too much about upgrades yet. Get your truck broken in and learn all you can about it first.

Gauges are always nice though (pyro and boost). You might want to do some reading on that.

Congrats on the new truck. The answer to both questions is yes-yes. Most power upgrades, depending if you can keep your foot out of it :D , will increase MPG. Once you start "Bombing" you will subject to a very famous saying around here. . "I am my own warranty station" :{ Gauges, exhaust and air filter kits are OK.

Welcome to TDR and congrats on the new truck. Even if you don't want to increase the power of your truck that much, or just a little, gauges are an invaluable addition to your truck.

Newbie here also and looking for info... ... ... ... . congrats on the new truck. I'm agreeing with waiting for major upgrades, too expensive to make many mistakes... . been there - done that with my Harley over the years !!
