New Pricing at KBB

Kelly has pricing for the 2005 2500 reg. cabs and the 2005 3500 series.

I spec'd out a 3500 for fun, it does not list single rear wheeled trucks with 8 foot beds. Are they not made with 8 foot beds? The 2500 would not let me spec the trailer tow group with out getting the AHD Snow plow group. What is in a snow plow group? I only want the trailer tow and protection group. The 3500 has a "big horn" group that looks like a pretty good deal. Is the 3500 worth the few extra dollars if I don't plan to tow much?

Often these sites don't have realistic schedules of models and equipment. I checked Edmunds a couple days ago and the show nothing for 2005. When I was pricing my new truck I gave up on KBB because of limited info. I would be very surprised if the 05's ddin't have all the same options (if not even more) then the 04 models.



On the subject of 2500 vs 3500 : If you don't plan to load the bed, or tow big, I would go with the 3/4 ton for less $ and smoother ride with moderate loads.

It's there... under AR9-Single Rear Wheel Group, right above Snow Plow Prep Package.

The only site I found that gave accurate info was Edmunds. No Info on 05's though--could change soon. I did look quite a bit when I was shopping and didn't find a better source. As you have seen KBB shows certain packages, but not the kind of detailed break down that we are looking for. Then there is the pay for price, and the "leave your e-mail and we will get back to you" web sites. If you are in CA, or west coast I can give the name of a very good dealer who will give you a below invoice price with no hassle.
