New product for 3rd gens

I think its too obvious for a patent as engineers have been using Bansbach easylift products in 1000's of applications.

I wouldn't care if you made one, my original post was only for concern about spending allot of my money on a project only to be cut out of the picture by having distributors buy direct (around me) from the same manufacture.



Bansbach easylift assured me they won't sell the GateAssist product to others and they don't manufacture all of the mounting hardware anyway.



To copy it someone would spend more time and money than buying one if they only wanted one. If a manufacture wants to compete, its a free market to make it better than Bansbach.

After all, its what I did. I tried what was out there and they didn't work like I wanted.

ive got several products in various markets there is no way to absolutely protect it for any length of time . my advice would be get it out there and sell it ! make what u can while u can and dont spend too much in developement of weird parts that can shoot u in the foot later if they become "unavailable". like what was said earlier keep ur price right and it wont be worth the bother of Knock-offs or diys .
