Thank you. I have been wanting one for a while and found it at the gun show in Dallas. Every time I went to the shows and looked around everything had the composite stock which is fine but, I prefer the look and feel of real wood and the stainless barrel was an added bonus.

FYI Ballistic advantage is making large AR platform 6.5 Creedmoor barrels now. Excellent barrels for a reasonable price!

Inspection card from Springfield shows a date of August 28, 2015, headspaced to 1.632.

The proper fit of the barrel is also controlled by the clearance cuts at the back of the tenon where the bolt head fits. I've seen these out of time and the bolt will not seat all the way home. Headspace is correct, dimensionally, but the tenon is to short by a few thousands of an inch and the clearance cuts miss-timed!! You can tell by looking down the sights. If the front sight is tilted to the right of 12:00 o'clock, even a minuscule amount, there is a problem!

I know the feeling, a couple of years ago I picked up a M1 Garrand and really love it!! I have thought a couple of times of selling it but can't bring myself to do it.
