Nice Quantum. However, I still can't figure you Pennsylvania guys. A fire truck is suppose to be RED.



At work we are getting ready to spec out a new pumper. Since I am on the truck commitee I have been really checking out what is available from the different manufacturers. It's amazing how much more stuff is out there from just 10 years ago. However, I am on a paid department so we have to keep the bling bling to a minumum and get the most for our dollar.

Red, why would you want your truck painted a primer color. Green is the way to go. Yes here in Pa we are a little differnt. We have fire trucks painted red, green, white, lime green, yellow, puple and blue. And that is just in the towns around us. 515 hp, we wanted the 550 but allison would not let Pierce do it because of the heat generated in the transmition. This was my first truck committee. It was great. Learned aot.
