UPS man just dropped these off and I installed em. They are FIA "OE" Seat Covers. Pretty happy with the look and fit. So I thought Id take some pics for those interested in keeping their seats nice. They come in Taupe/Moca, Light Gray/Dark Gray (what I got) and Charcoal/Black. You can find them on page 23 in the new Cabelas Automotive 2006 catalogue. Now I just have to wait for the WeatherTech floormats to be dropped off then I will take some pics of those too for those interested. Anyway... here are the pics. I just threw them on quick so I could get some pics in the daylight, I will fine tune the center seat to get the little ripple out. :D

Nice!

I've also been considering the Weathertech mats. Let us know how those fit as well. Oh yeah, and the cost on the covers? Front and rear?

I got them for 109. 99 for the fronts. The rears I dont know off hand. I will look them up tonight for you guys. Id guess the same amount maybe a few bucks extra.

Seat Covers

JRD,

I see you are from Arizona. I am in Alaska and I am planning a trip south at the end of June. We will travel as far south as the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I have leather seats an I am sure down there my butt is going to get singed if I don't find something to protect the seats. The covers you have look nice but I am concerned about spills. Do you know if you spill something on the seat covers if it will soak through and stain what ever is beneath the covers? Thanks Richard

Well the seat covers have some cushions for extra padding that may help for spilled drinks. But I dont think they would protect the seats from a good coffee or juice spill. It would dramatically reduce the amount that got to your seats, but thats about it. I mainly got these to protect the seats from the sun and my dirty work clothes. Id say look for some different seat covers if your looking for that type of protection, or maybe lay some thin plastic down if you do decide to go with these.

Thanks JRD

I'd just better get it over with and just kick in one of the doors. LOL I got to thinking about it that it is not good for the leather to be sealed in.

I dont see why they wouldnt work. They are the same seats as the QC's if I recall. The only difference is they are further back to provide more leg room. Here is the direct line for FIA. Ask them, as Im sure they will be able to help you more than I can. Their number is 1-800-835-0438

Mudgrabbing floormats for 06

I am replacing my 2000 QC with a 06 with center console, and looking for a serious rubber floormat that will cover from the door to the console (and not want to slide out). Most mats are too narrow. Suggestions please. Terry

They're not door to door mats. I'm running the Extreme rubber floor mats I found at Pep Boys. I've been running them in my Jeep for years and also had them in my previous Dodge. The rubber tits on the back hold it place.

I wonder how the black would look in a gray truck?

As far as the liquid spill thing... How about this... put a trash bag or (better) one of those absorbent doggie potty training pads, with plastic on one side and absorbent liner on the other, beneath the seat cover. Thoughts? I don't think you'd get the plasticky noise since the seat cover would be sitting on top.

Does anyone know if the rear cover would work on the '06 models? The Cabela's site says they'll work on '02-'05.

Nice looking--I'll be ordering them very soon after the arrival of my truck.
