New Seats for my 89

Getting tired (my rear that is) of this old bench seat and was wondering if any of you have ideas on say some good bucket seats that would work and where to find them. I was also thinking of a console that would fit between them. My 120 mile round trip in the daily driver can use some comfort.

One thing is for sure, the 2nd Gen seats will fit. AND they have a console/seat already there. I put them in mine, but didn't use the console. I wouldn't go back to the old ones when it comes to long trips.

I did do a search on seats in the First Gen archives and got some good info. I don't know how hard it would be to replace the bench with buckets and a console seeing how this is a regular cab and with the bench bolt pattern and such. I would love to be able to do the swap. Just need to know what's involved and a good source to find them. Price is a deciding factor also.

Not that I'm tight :-laf . Just looking for a good buy.

"Essler" had a write up lately on how he did his seat install. Looked better than the ones I put in my 91. I think the thread is coming on a month old. He has several pictures of it all.
