New Sig 220

Well, after two months of thinking about it, I picked up a new Sig 220. It's a . 45 acp. All I can say is WOW!! IT points great, am getting 1. 5" groups at 30 yards with Federal HydraShocks (230gr). I have small hands, so this is a major accomplishment. I'm amazed at how well it handles the heavier loads. My Colt officers feels like a brick compared to this.



My S&W 44 mag Lou Horton edition with the 3" barrel is taking a little longer to get used to.

Wish I still had mine

Back in my Academy days, I qualified with the Sig 220 as an off-duty. Really miss that weapon, it was a keeper that I should have kept.



No doubt, Sig Sauer (Sigarms) makes a great gun. We carried the P226 for many years.
