I got pretty worked up trying to decide which Southbend clutch to put in my '07, 5. 9, G56. I called Peter at Southbend and told him what I wanted to do powerwise and that I also needed an easy pedal due to my back surgery some years ago. I was thinking that the 3250 DD would be the trick but Peter recommended the 3400 Con OFE instead. I was worried that the clutch was going to be hard to depress with the 3400 P. P.
I also didn't want a bunch of noise out of the 3250 DD.
He set me up with the sprung disc (No rubber) and the 3400 P. P. with the heavy duty Hydraulics.
All I can say is N I C E!! The pedal feels easier than the stock dual mass P. O. S. that came stock.
It is a tad grabier than stock. Shifts smoother than stock. It will hold 475hp and 1000TQ at the rear wheels. I am only running a Smarty Jr so I will have plenty of reserve.
Thanks PETER!!! AND Thanks to the guys on the TDR!!
