here I am, sitting on the crapper, sending this to the internet. No wires, no hotspots, or anything. Just cellular broadband anywhere I want it.

Check it out at Sprint. They gave me the card for free, and a 2 yr agreement with unlimited usage for $59. 95 / month.

I just love technology.

ps.

I really am on the commode right now. :D

Gee, thanks for that picture... .

Since we're on the subject. What about security?I haven't done much research but wireless seems to be taking over. How's the speed compared to cable?

This is just as fast as DSL, same security measures would apply. (firewall, antivirus). There is no security issues like with home wireless routers, as this is just like a phone call. My own private network addy. The wireless modem has its own cell #.

Ps.

Wrote this in bed... lol

I really like this. Oo.

Cellular internet access is definately cool! The broadband service is still pretty limited in coverage areas though.

he was probably sitting up in bed, naked, eating cheetohs, and thumbing through a magazine with cheesy prints all over it... hahahahaha

I have looked into this myself because I live out in the boon docks, satellite is all I can get(and have) but I just happen to be close enough to a tower to get it. Does it have the same latencies of DSL or cable? I am wondering also if I could attach it to my network and share it?
