I started to hear a very small squeak under the dash on the drivers side the other day, then all of a sudden I feel something hit my left leg - then the squeak got worse. I look around at my next stop and come up with what appears to be a black sheetmetal panhead phillips screw that looks to be a little over an inch long.
I can't see where it came from when I look under the dash - no obvious holes. It sounds almost like it is one of the 14 screws that you can't see mentioned in this thread. Does anyone have a link or picture of how the dash/supports/etc. are screwed together?
This is about the only time that I hate having a manual transmission - the clutch pedal gets in the way when trying to look under the dash.
Thanks.
