Has anyone tried the new ISSPRO Gauges from Genos? I was going to go with DiPricol but didnt like the inconsistent lighting. Then it was autometer but the phantom series was to bright. Andy at Genos told me these new ISSPRO Gauges are brand new. Look like factory gauges and have uniform lighting.

If you mean the "EV" series (Enhanced Visibility), I have 3 of them in my truck (oil pressure, oil temp, and boost). They are nice looking and very easy to see at night. I have had some issues with the oil pressure gauge, however. Never any trouble with boost or oil temp.

I like Isspro... they've treated me very well and have given me excellent customer service.

What do you mean about the inconsistent lighting with DiProcol... Just curious as I've ordered a set from Geno's but want to know if I should switch to the new ISSPRO setup. From the night photo in Geno's catalog the DiProcol's look good but are you saying the lighting is a different brightness or lack off across different EGT, Boost and trans temp varities.

Thanks.

Yes I love the new ISSPRO Gauges. They match perfectly to my 03 gauges. The lighting on the DiProcol EGT was dimmer than the DiProcol Boost & transmission gauges. The new ISSPRO are all exactly lighting up the same. I will strongly reccommend them.

I seem to remember an article in the TDR newsletter that showed that Dipricol gauges had the best reaction times, and Isspro the worst. Reason enough for me to stick with Dipricol.

jsimpson, actually, you have it reversed. The Dipricol has the worst reaction time and Isspro was near the top. Real world expierences prove it as well as the article in the TDR... . I know a few guys that are unhappy with the slow reaction of the pyro on the Dipricol, regardless of where it's placed in the exhaust manifold.

I hear a lot of people complain about the brightness of the Di-Pricol gauges. However, I must be the only one that doesn't see that. I did experience the little frog eye cover on the e. g. t. falling off of the lense it was happily replaced by ATS. Another issue that I have seen is that when the bulb is put into the socket of the e. g. t. gauge it often cracks the very flimsy bulb housing. I have zip-tied the housing and maybe that is why a lot of you out their are seeing a light difference. Just something that you may want to check on. Also has anyone touched the bottom of their pod and felt how warm that little sucker gets. I found out the hard way as the bulb had fallen out onto the inside of the pod and nearly melted it self through. Whew talk about glad I noticed that. Might have melted my whole truck down. Hope this helps. Let me know if you guys have any questions.

Almost forgot, doese anybody know if you could replace a Di-pricol with a Isspro? It looks like the same connector. If so I would glady go with the new Isspros.

I'm confused... Are there new DiProcol's coming out this week. And did Isspro just come out with their new guages last week?

I had ordered a set of DiProcols from Geno's but they were backordered so when I heard about the new ISSPRO's I called and switched to them and they'll be here Feb. 1st.

Do the ISSPRO's use the same heavy duty thermoprobe as the DiProcols?

Also is DiProcol the only one with the red LED pointer on the needle.

I'm just hoping I'm getting a good set of guages but I guess I can send the IssPRO's back if indeed DiProcols are better.

Help :)

Yes isspro just came out with new gauges in the last week or so they can be seen on Geno's website. I just ordered three of them today they are in stock. I called Geno's a couple of weeks ago to order the triple windshield pod and three westachs and John told me about the new isspro's that would be coming out soon so I decided to hold off on my order. He also sent me a loner windshield pod with westach's in it so I could see how Ilike them (Great bunch of folks there at Geno's) I felt the westach's were a little brighter than I wanted. I also did an extensive search here on TDR and isspro looks like a good company with a good product. I think you will be happy with them.

On a side note my measurements show that the tubing for the boost gauge included with the isspro's from Geno's may or may not be a little short for the windshield pod so I ordered a tubing kit from Diesel manor that comes with 12' of tubing a 90 and compresion fittings witch may be more secure than a zip tie.

I just wanted to state again how pleased I am with the new ISSPRO gauges. Reaction time for the boost and EGT are excellant. Lighting is perfect. I

hooked it up to dimmer switch so at night you wont get the glare. As of yet I havent had to turn it down. The 3 gauge pod I ordered from Genos has just enough of a hood on it that you dont get a glare. As for the boost gauge from ISSPRO not having enough line I had more than enough.

All we need now is a fuel pressure gauge from Isspro to match... they say they are working on it. Maybe a few calls from TDR members can speed things up ;)

Autometer just came out with new gauges. They are led backlit and you can change seven different colors by just pushing a switch. Very nice.

nice looking they are, but i bet they will be lots of $$$$$, more than their cobalt & C2, probably in the same price range as DEFI gauges [and i don't think they have a boost only gauge yet, only a -30-0-30 vac/boost gauge]

Hey guys I need to know if I am stock what boost gauge should I run the 0-60 or 0-30 what is stock max boost for an 04. 5. Seems like everybody is happy with the new Isspro gauges. Also big discussion on where to mount the pyro sensor . All big rigs mount them after the turbo why are you guys mounting them in the exhaust manifold??

On our stock trucks we produce up to 34 psi, others produce more stock WOT, I would get the 0-60 and as for your pyro sensor, I aint going there.

absolutely love all 3 of my isspro gauges, 0-60 boost, 1500* pre pryometer, and transmission temp gauge. they are very nicely lite at night, not too bright, and they seem to match the dash gauges nicely. i would highly reccomend them, and geno's always seems to have the best deals on the isspro gauges.
