Yeah. Thanks Bob and Marco! I've had lots of fun rolling into the fuel slowly at 60mph and getting sideways on the salty roads.

Are you working on a program which focuses on a six speed? I have an 04. 5 twin turbo, 50hp injectors and towing cam. Using the most current program what setting(s) would you reccomend that would produce the most power balanced with best mpg? I also have TST do you have a reccomendation on it's best use in combination with Smarty if any? Thanks in advance, I appreciate all that you and Bob do and just love the Smarty.

Just downloaded the latest software to my S04 Smarty, off the Mads website.

Aftermarket turbo / stock injector 3V312DD411B. smt (wild tq), loaded sw#9 to the truck.



I like it! I like it alot! Driving manners are perfect. The go pedal is fully functional again, not touchy at all, the trans shifts great, not as severe as older wild tq programs, about the same as the old moderate tq programs.



I did several WOT passes, off the line it is very strong, still smokes quite heavily but cleans up quick. It is a nice sunny dry day here in Eastern WA, and I spun my 325/60/18 Toyos through 2nd gear and probably half way through 3rd before hooking up. (2WD)



Out on the interstate, 65mph to over 100mph, it does not "feel" as strong as the older program, the turbo does not seem to "light" as hard, but it pulls smooth all the way through, no dead/flat spots. I do not know what the rpm,s were doing, as I was busy watching boost and egt's.



My boost did not get above 50psi, it used to slap 60 and then settle at 50. My egt's almost touched 1400 and held steady, before, I would bury the needle past 1600, I cant wait to tow with this program, I believe it is going to be great! Through all the hot rodding today, I did not bark my turbo one single time, I used to bark it without trying.



My EZ was on 2, but my TST was 0/0. (turn EZ to off, egt's less?)

Waht are the differences in TM for those of us with 6spds? Is there a difference?

Bob, did mine come with aftermarket turbo software? I really need more boost than stock. I tried to test it tonight but the roads didn't have enough clear spots and the truck got up to speed too soon to know for sure.

Had some more trials today, Bob, this is for you, cruising along, the minute I let off the throttle, TQ unlocks, I know this is to prevent "hanging throttle".



I miss the engine, holding me back, The truck free wheels, and will not engage unless I blip the peddle. Then it will engage for a 1/2 second, and let loose.



My truck used to hold back somewhat, on engine back pressure, now it justs, let's loose.



The second I touch the fuel, BAM, locks up and, off to the races, let off, free wheels.



I know, we are never satisfied, this is what makes Smarty BETTER!

The current software let's you set your top spped limit above stock. Increased rev limit appears to be in process for future release, maybe with the 230hp race softwrare? Marco and Bob are keeping us in suspense for the holiday searon! Oo.

Seems to me my transmission doesn't hang up going from 1st to 2nd or jump from 2nd to 3rd then back to 2nd. Even more snappier than the beta.

Anybody notice significantly less timing rattle at idle but significantly more in mid rpm WOT? Like before the Dec5 release the timing was a bit rattley at idle and stayed about the same with a quick full throttle acceleration and now at idle sounds like stock but rattle spikes hard with a quick full throttle acceleration?

Yes, thank goodness... Marco has finally implemented a variable timing map that allows us to use drive-thru windows again... I love it. It idles like stock and ramps timing when you need it.

I am awaiting a shipment with my Smarty-06. I have been trying to read everything I can regarding the Smarty. I know I have seen posts with the 0-9 levels explained but cannot find them. Is there any document that someone can post that expalins each level? I have downloaded the lastes dsoftware to be ready and update the Smarty to the newest software once it arrives. I have been using the TST R-49 for several years and will probably run the TST at 0/0 for awhile to get used to the Smarty and then start playing with what works best for my driving style. From all the responses on this post alone I cannot wait to try this out. .
