wastegate?

B & W turnover ball

I though w/ all the stacks and single 4/5" exh. setups around i'd try a different approach. Dont get me wrong i think stacks are sooo cool but i wanted to be kinda steathy. (sorry it's so dirty, just got back from Carlisle.

lemme know what ya think guys, Scott

Cool

Thats almost what I want. After having stacks, (dang i miss them)

I thought about doing the duals too. But I want mine to exit right at the bumper/corner of the bed. Kinda shoot between the hitch and the framerail.

What for angles did you use on the elbows to get you there?

45* to the splitter then 22. 5* goin out?

exh.

Chris, that was an "S" bend pipe that i cut in half. have a bunch of chrome stuff from our show trucks so i scavenged one of those.

what your talking about would work very nice!! just remember the spare and winch gotta go bye-bye for this type setup.

it' goes from the y to 2 long sweep 90's then 2 short sweep 45's then the tips. i gotta get the truck up in the air for better pic's then it's kinda self explanitory.

I swear I saw a truck same color with same dual pipes in Issequa (sp?) Wa pulling onto I90 East on the 5th of July. Doubt it was you (was it?) but man it looks pretty darn close.

Those pipes have stuck in my mind ever since

I'm not from Wa either just happened to be passing through so chance are pretty slim I'll ever see it again. I've seen a lot of trucks I wish I took pics of.

Nice job fitting the exhaust. Looks like a good neat/clean job. I don't see anything supporting the tail sections, do they just hang there?

45 degrees out the corner

I have dual 4" 45 slash cuts out the corner right at the end of the bed. I was hoping it would shoot the smoke off of the truck, but the tailgate is filthy still. I kinda wish maybe i would have turned them down or something

Mike, they are supported in 5 different places. there is hangers just inside the outboard weld , at the top of the 90's near the "Y", and 1 just in front of where it kicks upoff the long straight.

that thing does not move at ALL. . i went to great legnths to kinda hide all the mounting brackets as to keep it clean.

Zstrokin, i kept um up close to the flaps as to get the soot out the side and away. the tail gate doesnt even get dusty:D :D

i tow a big prowler TT so i wanted to keep the front end a little clean at least. :p

Thanks Guy's Scott

Scott,

Where did you get/what did you make the tips out of? I'm considering a system silmiar to yours but 4" whenever my buddy finally gets a wire welder:rolleyes:

I would like mine very similar to yours, but farther back and a little more of a 45" degree angle out... ... maybe almost at the corners of the tailgate/bed..... but still concealed under the bed with the exception of the tips pointed at the ground for LOTS O NOISE!:D Oo.

P. S. I'm a victim of the famous frayed cable tire looser club! :( One week it was there, next week it was gone. So losing the jack wouldn't be heartbreaking to me.
