I need some new tires. I want to know which tires would be the best for everyday'r and occasional racing. I want tires that can handle doing 115+ (don't want any blowout's) and are good in wet weather. Not planning on doing much 4 wheelin with the truck so not too worried about the tread pattern. Also, what size do y'all recommend? Thanks, CStraf

Yeah... i was thinking something a little more streetable? Maybe the Toyo's are... I dunno. Anyone have experiance with the NItto NT420S???? Does anyone know which tires have the highest speed rating?

My understanding is that the tire will withstand a sustained operation at its rated speed. I am sure it is with the proper inflation, in good condition, not patched, not overloaded, yada, yada, yada.

Remember E Rated...

I would not run anything less than Erated tires on my 2500... .

Have the Nitto Terra's. . softish. . hook up good and at 12. 75" wide its a good contact patch... :D

the nitto's are made by toyo, they are the older model of tread design and compound. both are e rated. the toyo has the latest compound letting it go a little higher in mph. nitto is 106 mph. i only know cause i distribute for them both.

So you suggest the Toyo's OC A/T's? What size? 265? 285?
