I just put a set of new tires on my new truck. I looked at all kinds of tires, and I wanted a good mud type tire 10 ply. BFG MT's did not have what I wanted. So I am trying a new tire on the market it's an Inderco Trxus same people that make the supper swamper tires only this is a mild version of that and it' a 10 ply and cheeper then BFG MT's it's a 285/75 R16 The truck was made in Mexico and now the tires are made in Mexico also. If your looking for new mud type tires they are worth a look.

Lhotka A long term report will be intersting I hope it is half as good as they look on the truck. So far the ride is good with 45 psi in all 4 tires I have not had a chance to chalk the tires to find the best air pressure for the front and back. with the windows down you can here them sing at about 50 - 55 mph but it's not to bad.

Tony I had to order them from my local 4x4/RV shop and I am the first to get the 10 ply's and they want to know how the tires do also.
Thanks
Cliff

Cliff I hope for your sake they wear better than the Swampers. . great traction on the Swampers but VERY poor milage. . the big trade off grip v/s traction

I am proud for ya. I stopped at discount tire yesterday and the bfg are not in my size. The salesman said he would recommend stayin with the load range E. I could go to the 285 instead of 265 and almost be there as far as the load rating. I guess I will have to go back with Michelins, next time I will probably try the ms instead of the as. Little more bite but not much. Enjoy!!

Hey Okie Go,

Will the 285-75-16 size tire fit on a 2wd without rubbing in the front? (with stock wheels) I was thinking of going a little wider next time... .

Man, every time I see a tire thread, I start thinkin' about the Weld Renegade F1 in the 18x8. 5 size, with 285/60R18 tires... Decisions, decisions... At nearly 2 grand for all four corners, it would be a strictly summer wheel/tire setup... #ad

Moto-Head I think the 285 will fit without a problem. The tire shop by the mall will take care of you. Ask for James,He is a good guy. Will put them on and see if they rub,if they do he will take them off and then do what you want. He really tries to take care of his customers. Call me,My # is the the book. I'm just a few minutes from you.
