ok im looking for a 94-98 dodge ctd 12v when ever i find what i want. i want to put a bhaf,i think its a #6 plate 5inch stacks and that would be that and its going to be a auto tranz. what i want to know is a stock auto going to hold this. also would this be hard on say a 200,000+ mile motor thanks for the help :)

Your stock auto might take a #6 plate in a 94-95 but not a 96-98 (bigger injectors). Note I said might. It won't take long to burn it up if you try. You also may be looking at a larger turbo to handle the fuel of a #6. I had a #11 in my 96 and it was a perfect match for the turbo in terms of smoke and EGT's. This is my opinion, perhaps someone else can help us out here.

Depends a lot on how you treat it. I was able to easily go 160k on my stock transmission, but I didn't drag race or abuse it daily, & I kept the fluid clean & cool. I knew the power was there & used it wisely. If I needed to tow 80mph, or spank-a-Ford, I would. Finally at 160k, I was slipping the lockup clutch in the TC, & had a Goerends Triple installed. While there, they opened up the transmission, & found just minimal & normal wear. It was brought up to date, & re-installed, the only real upgrade being the solid steel band strut lever or whatever it's called. I still don't deliberately abuse it, but the truck goes & tows like hell if I deem it necessary. (190k now)
