I add 1/2 tank only, 2.5 gal jug, for the summer unless I am going to tow the RV. In the fall I will top it off at a truck stop after the Low DEF warning. The Truck Stop is out of the way for me most of the time.
The DEF gauge makes this easy to do.
It's just getting warm here. Wait till it gets hot and stays hot being 105-117F with 121 the highest I have seen.
