I just bought an 09 2500 4x4 longbed with 17k miles on it! Is there anything I need to watch on this? It sure does STOP a 100 times better than my old 98! What kind of mileage can i expect out of it? When do most people change the fuel filter on these? will it tell me when it needs changed?

Thanks, Kevin

Congrats on your new baby.

*14-16 mpg

*Avoid short trip operation (DPF issues)

*Fuel Filters, 12 mo, or 15K miles.

*Check crankcase oil level after she sits overnight in the same park spot. A unexplained rise on the dipstick may be injector problems, although a slight rise is normal.
