New to site

Hey Everyone,

Just got home last week with my first RAM CTD. I was waiting for the 800lb TQ model and I have to say it didn't disappoint. 22MPG on the way back from Sacramento! Big difference over my old Ford 460. So I'm new to RAM but not to Cummins, the generators I work with on a daily basis are mainly run buy Cummins turbo 6 cyls in the 7, 8, and 9 liter variety. Great motor- and so far, great truck.

Looking forward to lots of good info here.

Welcome, I'm old school, 12 valve. But you'll love the truck. Just wish diesel was still 99 cents/gal like when I first got mine, but can't have everything!!!! Tom

I would not believe the fuel display too much. Mine is off by 1. 5 MPG all the time, some are off even more. The fuel mileage does get better has the engine breaks in.

Well its gone down quite a bit around town but still easily doubles my old Ford. So far its been great. 1000mi already.

I too had a Furd with a big block gas engine before I purchased my first Dodge with a CTD. Never again will I have another Furd gasser. I loved my first 95 Dodge/Cummins and I love my present 05 Dodge/Cummins and you will to.
