Great looking truck, you don't see too many regular cab 2nd gen CTD around. Have you considered getting the truck undercoated to keep the cancer away? There are a few KROWN dealers within an hour of me (Ashtabula County)
Beware of the Raptor pumps, I have heard alot of people having problems with them lately. Not so much the AD100s and 150s, and I think FASS makes a pretty decent replacement lift pump as well.

I have considered undercoating. One member advised against it because it potentially seals in the rust that has already started and it would continue to rust from underneath. I don't know about that but I do put oil in the doors and rockers and in the tailgate. As far as lift pump I was going to order a FASS from Geno's but the shop I'm working with has more experience with AirDog so I left it up to their judgment. Their is evidence the truck has already had a VP 44 changed because there is a sticker on the pump from a diesel shop.
thanks for the advice.

You are right about undercoating trapping rust. Google "KROWN" and see what you think. It requires an annual treatment and is an oil based spray. Lots of people on here recommended it to me and although I don't have the proof to say it works I like the application process and the material being applied.
