Sold my 2005 and bought a 2012 2500 c.cab longbed with 80,000 miles. Per the 4th gen buyers guide we will install the following:
1. Genos quick grill release kit
2. Fumoto oil drain valve
3. condenser guard
4. B and W turnover ball gooseneck hitch
now the questions
Edge Insight CTS what are your thoughts? suggestions?

Any other service needed at 67,500 miles other than the following?
crankcase vent filter
clean egr valve
clean egr cooler

What am I missing as far as service items that may need attention? I am going to leave the emission devices in place.

Will change all fluids in drivetrain/axles, transmission and transfer case.
My 2005 was the best truck I ever owned, I hope the 4th gen truck doesn't disappoint.

The only thing that disappointed me about my 12 was the poor fuel economy and the short oil change intervals.

There are some emission present tuners out there that can bump up the MPG a tad. While I ran deleted, a co-worker of mine has a 2012 long bed and runs a Smarty emissions present tune. His MPG is up about 1.5 around town and about 2 on the highway. His oil change intervals have also increased.

Similar truck to the one I bought less than a year ago.

You got everything on your list but lubricating the front driveshaft: there's a double cardan joint on the transfer case side with a hard to find grease fitting for the centering ball. For clearance reason the grease fitting is a flush fitting. You need to get a needle attachment. The fitting is there but it may take you some time to find: ton of info out there. Familiarize yourself with double cardan joints, centering balls and flush grease fitting so you know what you're after.

Also, although not listed, at the service interval I pull the MAP (near the EGR valve) and give it a wash with some carb cleaner. It does get dirty with soot. Once in a while also pull the two sensors by the air filter (one is the MAF, the other is a pressure sensor that checks the condition of the air filter).
Another thing not necessary, but a good idea, is once in a while to pull the exhaust pressure sensor and give that a clean too with some carb cleaner along with the line that goes from the turbo to the mounting position: the perfect time is when you do the EGR cleaning. The exhaust flow is minimal, practically now, but you still get some soot deposits in the long run that can trigger CEL codes.

The other thing you may want to look into is the kit to add the cabin filter: keeps dust out.

Since you've added the Fumoto to the engine sump, give some thoughts about adding it to the transmission. The transmission pan is sealed with RTV: it will never leak, but it's a very messy fluid change. If you ever want to freshen up the fluid half way at 30K or so, or even send it out for testing before changing it, makes it a breeze. Drill a hole, push the Fumoto in, put a nut on the other side with some red threadlock and tight it.

In my 2012 I added the Mopar Sever Duty Fuel Filter kit. They got dirt cheap on eBay. It is nicer than aftermarket alternatives because it includes a WIF and heater element. The filter element is a Mann Hummel PL250 or PL250/1

Can you provide more info or link on the severe duty fuel filter kit?

My 2005 had that same front shaft. It can be a bear to lubricate, especially when you have bifocals :-laf
Thanks for the great suggestions

It's something for pre-2013 trucks that came only with the engine mounted filter, you can read more here -> https://www.turbodieselregister.com/threads/254692-Severe-duty-filters-fuel-tank-ventilation
The 2013+ trucks have a frame mounted filter (made by Parker/Racor) that does the same job.

I forgot to mention this thread I did when I did my driveline fluid changes -> https://www.turbodieselregister.com...-60K-driveline-fluids-change-here-s-some-tips
