New Toy! G-Tech Pro Comp

Got a new Toy and Wow-this thing is fun! I baselined my vehicle and am tweaking things here and there with the gadget to get consistent results. But now I have my own private dyno to determine just how good/bad the future "enhancements" go!

The ability to go down the road, come back, download, overlay, print, and compare different runs on the computer is alone worth it for me, my wife wouldn't agree but that's about par anyway. lol.

does the gtech pro comp read engine rpm for the hp/trq numbers [i had heard rumors that it does through it's power plug]

Yes, it's apparently sync'd through the cigarette lighter (it's power supply). Once calibrated (rev to 2800-push OK, rev to 1200-push OK) it's actually very accurate as compared with stock tachometer and my "road tests" so far. (Realtime display matches)
