Bought a new tool to make life easier keeping the grass & weeds at bay without lifting a weed eater ALL DAY

It is. String is Pre cut and very easy to load.
One piece per side looped in half.
I bought one of those when we got the Zero Turn and it does a great job.

Got into some Cat Tails last year and melted the plastic on the string head. No slippage, didnt realize what I had done until I tipped it up to clean out the extra weeds!!!

I've had one of those for about 12 years now- still works great. Check on Amazon for "Vortex" .155 line, made by Rotary- MUCH less expensive than the pre-cut stuff.

10/4 Bill bought some at a mower shop TIGER ?? triangular shape 800 ft roll

I buy line in bulk. I made a length gauge out of some old steel tubing. Cut a bunch of line to length, then store them in a pvc tube filled with water. The line lasts much longer if it is stored in water.

The marks have disappeared on mine but the measurement is 18 3/4".

Got to try out the toy this morning. WOW!!!

to give an idea of the test these are before & after pictures of test this took about a minute each side to accomplish so really not much of a workout for this Toy Don't know it uploaded one pict 2 times
