Darin Tessier, who is making the bracket for the steering fix (which I bought one and it is the best money I have every spent), I understand he is in the process of making a track bar which should last the life of the truck. I do not have all the details and only posting this is for information only. You can e-mail Darin at mttrk@sk. sympatico. ca for any information. I order some spare hex nuts and received this information. I have no monetary gains in posting this information, just one happy customer with the steering box fix. Moderators, if I have stepped beyond the guidelines, please delete this post. (I plan on ordering one myself)

I just sent him a e-mail and suggested that he include after market covers in his design and R&D as there are a ton of them out there [including me LOL]

I have a email from Darin and the gang as well. I am excited for them and us regarding the opportunities they have given us,as well as the opportunity we have given them. I am beyond confident that there new creation will be as superb and meet or exceed all expectations as much as the steering box stabilizer has. I am in no way affialiated with this group of fine Canadians But you will be hearing my honest opinions as to how this new product helps my vehicle. As before we must remain patient and in due time the results will come to be.

Best regards to all.

Patrick. :)

I'm with you Patrick. :D I'm looking forward to this new track bar. If it is half as good as the DSS, you will never need to buy another.

I wait because I am free to do so. If I had to have it yesterday I would make other arrangements. we all have situations that differ greatly. As a small business owner. I Make the choice to support another small Business. I am very much a user of Canadian small business. Why you may ask? Because they have products that my business uses that are available no where else.

Those of us that Have dealt with Darin I am confident will know the answer to the why wait question. I also am confident that some of us who have dealt with Darin may not have the situation that allows them to wait. Darin wont mind at all thats the type peaple he is. I do trust I have not been misunderstood as speaking for Darin and I also trust that because of the type peaple he is he will correct me if I am wrong. I hope this reply answers your question Sir. best regards Patrick:)

A quick note:

It will be a while yet on the track bar. Our first priority is the DSS. Darin is quite busy making sure the orders get filled.

We have a prototype track bar setup on a truck getting a thorough beating. However, I am still working out the design details on the production version. It's gonna be a couple of months at least.

The good news is that it *should* clear the aftermarket diff covers.

Finally, though it's been posted a few times in other threads, Piers is carrying the DSS; this might be quicker for you guys on the West Coast.

Later,

Marv

Patrick, I didn't mean anything negative in my post, I just didn't know if you knew about the DT bar. I might also add that the folks at DT Products Inc. are nice people as well I have never met Darin but I am sure is a great guy, I asume most are untill proven other wise. It just sounded like this this post stating that his new track bar was going to the best and only option when it isn't as of yet. People should know that there are other choices out there so they can make an informened decision. I am in no way associated with DT at all, simply stating that I put there bar in over three years ago and have no no problems with it. I am even considering Darins steering fix in conjuction with my DT bar, I will check it at Piers next month.

No problem Bad dodge all is well. If you do not have darins box fix yet you should try it out It makes a incredible difference at least in my truck. Thanks for the info. Patrick:)

Q: What is the Service Life of the DT Trac Bar?

A: This will vary depending on you & your truck. 3/4 ton owners may get as few as 10,000 miles to as many as 40,000+ miles on a factory unit, while 1/2 ton owners may see as many as 125,000 miles. But with a lift system & over size tires on a 1/2 ton with 80,000 miles the factory bar may be out-of-spec in just 2 or 3 months from the time of the lift install. Personally, my 1/2 ton Cummins factory bar was done at about the 10,000 mile mark. Then I put 30,000 miles on a DT unit before replacing the heim & bushings. Normally you should expect about a similar amount of miles as your factory unit with the same driving habits & lift/tire combination. Remember, the repair kit is $45 not the $300 a stock Dodge unit would cost.

Is this the dt everyone is talking about?
