I just put in my new trans last night, i was taking it out for a test run and something broke in the trans. I got the Billet input shaft, already had the triple lock converter, and got the mag double deep pan. I started out with putting 18 quarts of fluid in it. I started and slowly shifted it though all the ranges a couple of times and checked the fluid again. It looked good and felt good shifting. I then took it out for a test drive of about 2 miles and stopped at a store and checked the fluid again. Every thing looked good. Got back in to continue but when i shifted into drive it seemed to be slipping. I put it in to reverse and it did fine, so i shifted back in to drive and it still seemed to be slipping. I shut the truck off waited a minute and started back up and the truck did fine. So I drove back to the house and checked over everything again, all looks good. I thought maybe it just had some air in it? So I took it out again for a little longer drive I noticed that I can't turn off the overdrive, don't know if its something that that valve body just does or what it is. Other than that the truck was shifting good. I came to a stop sign and went to start off and i heard a loud bang and lost all power to the ground. (what a day) I wasn't getting on it hard or anything i only had my Comp on 3X3. I don't think that i broke the output shaft because i still have park. The only performance wise mods that i have are 4" exhaust, K&N intake and Edge Comp with the Hot program. The trans that i had in there before only had a TransGo shift kit that i installed and the Triple lock converter. It held up to alot of abuse. What kind of power have yall had the intermediate shaft hold up too. Once i call the company on monday ill let you know what they say.
