I need help have 95 speed 2wd quad cab long bed have slid fuel plate and other minor mods want to mak more power what is a good price for a new throwout, stronger clutch, etc basically a rebuilt trans to hold up to 350 ponies tops i tow a lil bit but not much im in northern cali thankyou

First off Welcome to the forums!!

Do you have any current problems with trans? The trans should take 350 hp, the only thing needing attention, assuming that there are no problems right now, would be the fully splined main shaft and the upgraded nut and a better clutch. Clutches vary in price but around 600 throwout bearings are cheap less then 50. I don't know what trans parts cost.

Welcome aboard....

Like csevers..... unless you are having problems currently, no need to do anything just yet. (Having said that, there is nothing wrong with upgrading before you begin to have problems..... if you have the money. ) When you "get ready" for the new clutch, is a good time to do the main shaft upgrade.

Install guages as your next upgrade (EGT and Boost). Spend as much time as you can afford reading old threads in the 12 valve forum. It will give you a sense of what to watch out for and how to economically spend your upgrading dollars. Good luck and enjoy.

Welcome cowgirl mover!

Read the archives, Then talk to Mark at TST, Peter at South Bend Clutch.

Your first money needs to go to boost and pyro gauges. then set power goals and build towards them.
