I recently purchased an '02 Quad Cab 3500 Dually, 2wd, HO, 6 speeed truck and am not too happy with the power. I pull a 22 ft. enclosed car trailer(8-10K lbs. loaded) and it struggles up some hills that I think it shouldn't. I had the dealer relook at it, they said it checked out ok, no codes, and fuel pressure was about 14 idle, 11 highway, 8 or 9 at full throttle. He thought that was a little low so he asked the Dodge tech line, and they said it was fine and wouldn't deal with performance problems until 25K miles or more anyway. My gauges show 21 to 22 psi boost.

I plan on exhaust and air filter upgrades soon, but want to know what I can do "box" wise to help, but definetely without compromising my warranty. Any ideas on the boxes, or anything else.....

Steve,

Welcome to TDR. Now watch your wallet get smaller. :D Now about more power. You can search all the threads by doing a search or just by looking at some of the current threads. Their are a lot of simple things you can do, and a filter and exhaust are just the tip of the iceburg.

I hope this helps,

Ben
