Is there any way to search 2013 inventory for specific items or is this something only a dealer can do. I'm looking for a big horn or Laramie with Aisin transmission but I have to have a bench seat. Looking at ram trucks.com most everything Im finding has 68RFE and buckets. Thanks

Are you looking for a 4WD or a 2WD? SRW or Dually?

I was searching for a 2WD SRW with the Aisin... ... ... ... there is one... ... ... ... ... ... ... in Salinas, Calif. It is the color I want but not the interior. In the SLT, Big Horn and Lonestar, the only 2 interior choices is uglier and ugliest.

Someone at Dodge Decor missed peeing in the bottle at their last employment physical... ... ... ... ... ... ..... IMHO.

I'm waiting for the 2014's too, kind of disappointed I can't get the Aisin in a 2500. I guess I'll have to wait a month or so for them to hit the dealer lots. I want to see how they drive with coil springs instead of leafs on the rear. Right now, I can't even get a sales brochure to study from the dealer, but can do that online I guess.

Looking for a crew cab 4x4 dually long bed. I'll have my local dealer do a search tomorrow. I'll probably end up ordering a 2014.

There are some out there pretty well fitting the qualifications (including bench seat) you listed above:

I did this quick check with zip code 75001; there are lots more within 1000 miles of this Texas code.

Forget the Laramie Longhorn; they come with bucket seats. The Big Horn is an overlay option package on the SLT; the Lone Star is the equivalent package for Texas. The big Horn includes voice command/bluetooth, Uconect 5, usb port, 115 volt port, polished forged wheels, bright grille cloth premium bench seat, powered driver's side, fog lamps, armrest with cup holders, center seat cushion storage, leather steering wheel, split folding rear seat, microphone in rearview mirror, steering wheel mounted audio controls, under hood lamp.

I will look back on ramtrucks and see what I can find.

Thanks. That's only a couple hours from me. Could a chmsl camera be added since both of those trucks have the 8. 4 screen? Also just bought a new fifth wheel and was thinking about 3. 73 gears. Would the 3. 42 be ok? Camper weighs 9k dry. Will probably only tow 5000 miles per year between horse trailer and 5er. Thanks again for all your help.

You can expect to lose 1-2 mpg with 4. 10s and with 3. 42s the truck is rated to tow about 17,000 pounds. I don't know about the camera. I wouldn't expect it to be easy and cheap even if possible. I can continue looking but you have to tell me what you have to have first, and whether you are willing to take a plane to a more distant dealership because you didn't do this in July when the inventory was much bigger. For me something like the CHMSL camera would not be a deal breaker. An ST would also be acceptable, but I don't know what feature of a Big Horn makes it a requirement for you. There are a lot of STs out there with the Aisin and all of them have bench seats. Most of the Laramies I found have buckets. I wanted bench so I could climb to the other side if an accident, etc. necessitated getting out on the other side.

I ended up getting a Big Horn in July but could have gone with an ST if otherwise equipped with Aisin, pop. equip. group, Uconnect 5 (mostly for the roof console with map llights that it includes). The hardest thing for me to find was copper color along with the Aisin in a short bed crew cab.

The silver one in noblesville looks pretty good. My dealer is searching for me this morning. I don't mind flying. Can I still put a b&w companion in a truck with the fifth wheel/gooseneck prep from the factory?

Not without removing the factory gooseneck casting. You need to use the B&W gooseneck hitch. Removing the casting should be easy, just 6 nuts. Likewise you should be able to use the factory studs/plates and just fit the B&W over them and use the factory nuts to hold it instead of the casting. The factory prep package will save some work in installing the B&W gooseneck and overall the cost of the B&W stuff is a good bit less than buying all the factory stuff. It is what I would do if I didn't want to tie up the bed with a lot of brackets when not using the hitch.

If you want different options than the silver one has, be specific and I can look for one. Your dealer may be able to find it but they won't want to look a long distance away and they will want a piece of the action above what the selling dealer gets.

Local dealer only found the silver one in Noblesville and not at a very good price. I want a fairly loaded 4x4 crew cab dually diesel, aisin trans. , preferably 3. 73 rear end, bench seat, cold weather group, snowplow prep or protection group, chsml camera would be nice, luxury group on a slt or bighorn would be nice but not a deal breaker. Adjustable pedals and remote start would be nice also. colors I like are prairie pearl, silver, black, or gray. I really appreciate all your help. Ive been trying to look also and found a couple with 3. 73 gears in Vernon, TX.
