Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Been on this site for about 8 months getting good input on what I need in the way of a truck. I want to thank everone who (know it or not) has helped me in the decison making process. A great bunch of people here, from all across America (AND Canada!). I think today I may have saved another soul from buying a Ford diesel without even thinking of exploring the Cummins option. I am confident after my sales pitch that he will check out this site and do a search on connecting rods and if that doesnt convence him, I'm sure some of your (the members) comments will win him over.
Although my 93 Dakota with a 5. 2 gas engine and 3. 90 rear axle has served me well over the last 106k miles of ocassional towing duty, I have come to love the Mopar reliable drivetrains and truly look forward to the cummins torque and fuel econony. This may very well be the last new vehicle purchase for me, the cost is getting just too great.
Have driven Fords all of my like, now I choose the best product for the job at hand!
