OP has the 6-speed manual trans, so his clutch will be the weak point. I've run the Toyo Open Country M/Ts and sold the truck with 20k on the tires and they were not half worn yet. Go E-rated 10-ply for sure. I love the stock Michelins, just not aggressive enough for my use. 285s will fill the wheelwell better as well. Are you keeping the stock steel wheels? They are 7. 5" wide compared to 8" for the aluminum wheels, so keep that in mind when you spec out tires. Not sure where you are located, but I've seen a few sets of stock aluminum wheels with and without tires on ebay and craigslist if you are looking to upgrade.
