Well, we pulled the plug and got a new 2012 Laramie DRW Max Tow 4. 10 white with most all the gooodies! WOW what a nice rig! Big changes between 05 and 12! Picture to follow!

I see you are a Amsoil Dealer. . How long until you do the change over? Are you going to use the OEM or the full synthetic? Trying to decide what approch I am going to go with myself.

I changed ALL lubricants to AMZ/OIL at around 2,500 miles. I just sent a sample to Blackstone with 7,500 on the full synthetic 15-40 and they said that the iron was 71 ppm and 0. 5% fuel dilution and no water or antifreeze. The engine had 15,000 miles at the time of the sample. They said the oil had a lot of life left in it but until the iron level goes down to stick with 7,500 miles. TBN was 4. 7. The computer did not tell me to change until 7,500 miles.
