New Truck

Thought it was time to introduce myself. I've been lurking on this board for several months now and registered when I decided to go Dodge.
I shopped around and found a dealer I thought I could work with and they found me the truck i wanted sitting in Oklahoma. Just came back from the dealer lot and saw it waiting for me. It was dark & raining so I couldn't look it over too well but I get to go pick it up tomorrow after work. I CAN'T WAIT.
Just wanted to thank you all for the information and good will on the board.

Welcome !!! " I can't wait" Good thing you didn't have to order the truck. I ordered on 3AUG2000 and have been waiting since then. Mine is finally off the train but not yet at the dealer. Keep us posted on the ride.

Congrats on the truck Lurch.

I've been lurking as well, waiting for mine to come in. The waiting finally ended for me yesterday. Ordered 7/31, arrived 10/3, picked up 10/4.

Everything checked out great on it, and I am psyched! I only hope it lives up to my expectations - I've wanted a Ram Diesel ever since they went to the current body style.

Looking forward to meeting all of you TDR-ers out there.

Bigsaint, has Dodge given you a reason why your truck is delayed? I ordered mine on the 19th of Aug. and I could take delivery today, but my ride got sick. I WILL get it either tomorrow or Saturday. Can't wait!

Just got my new ride home. Couldn't be happier. If it wasn't so #@$% cold outside I'd probably sleep in it.

Kat, I know you're just over the river. We'll have to get together sometime. Might be in KC for the open house if not before. Like I said I've been lurking here quite awhile.

It did suddenly get cold here... didn't it? Open house thing in Kansas City would be great. Douglas Hatfield and myself are going so we can let you know when we are going and convoy together. I am not sure if anyone else is going (from around here).

jwgary... As soon as my order was received and okay'ed, it when into "restriction" for the six speed and drw options. The good news is that it finally arrived at the dealers lot this afternoon and I'll be picking it up by Monday the latest.
