New truck

I am looking into getting a new truck. Was just looking for some advice on things. Are the 04. 5 gonna be a little pricey or what is the outlook on that? Also I was wondering what you guys all prefer. I was wondering what the pros/con or likes/dislikes are for getting the automatic transmission or the 6-speed. I am looking at getting a 3500 with duals. I pull some horses around. Any advice would be great. I have a 2000 2500 QC 5-speed with the EZ edge right now. Thanks

If you like the 5 speed, you will love the 6 speed. If you don't like the 5 speed, you will hate the 6 speed.



Prices on the 04. 5 are about $200 higher than the 04. 0. I was able to buy at invoice less $2500 rebate less $500 farm bureau discount. The $2500 rebate ends today. No news on what happens tomarrow.

I have the autos in the past. I much prefer the 6th speed for towing etc. I've got 27 head of horses! So I pull a fair amount. I also don't like getting stuck. See my sig.
