After about 9 hours of blood, sweat, and tears yesterday, I finally got my new TST 1000# ceramic clutch installed.
Pulling the transmission wasn't so bad, but getting it lined up to put back took about an hour and a half
. Other than almost breaking a finger after blowing a seal on my transmission jack, everything was fine.
As far as performance, it's everything they said it would be. It chatters a little at take off, but it should wear down a little, not be quite as bad. Pulling wise, I pulled it hard last night with a trailer and the comp on 5x5, and it didn't even think of trying to slip. My old clutch would let go on level 2x3 running empty!
I feel another bombing run comming on
