Does the "New" TST CR box throw codes like the first released ones did? Has anyone using the TST box dynoed their truck on 3/3 or 4/4 setting? Thanks.

It seems the code issues are resolved for the most part.

There's several posts here re: dyno -- the engine/drivetrain section that is. ;)

Moving post... .

I called edge today and asked about their attitude box. It should be ready in approx 2months. I hope so my mph is putting me in the poor house 2. 29 per gal. Has anyone used the edge attitude box and is it what they claim?

YEA RIGHT ??

YEA RIGHT ?? two months and then back ordered for 4 more months if your lucky. I have been waiting but not any longer, I ordered a TST Powermax CR today. I have been a loyal Edge product user but I also now that Mark at TST produces a quality product and has great customer service. So good by Edge and Hello TST. I talked to someone yesterday who stated if no problems come up they should be releasing the attitude in approx 2-3 weeks with HP around 120.

It was 2 months for the Edge back in Jan 2003. I'm still waiting, but only because I haven't upgraded my fuel system yet. If I do that, and the Edge Juice still isn't out, they'll loose my business. .

Dynoed at 5/5 349 HP 750 Torque. At 7/7 448 HP.

Are those corrected numbers or rear wheel numbers? Where did the torq peak and by chance do you have the graph scanned? Thanks

How things change in a day. I now have a thrown code. I think it is the cam sensor connection.

I talked with Mark. This is now a very rare occurance.

I do not have a scan. I think the 7/7 number is correct but the 5/5 is probably incorrect because we did not check the module setting for torque before that run. Power showed 5, but I think the torque was set on 2.

Anyway, they all peaked at 2900 RPM.

Im not waiting for edge anymore. I have been supporting them but this is now just stupid. Looks like edge has the wrong people working for them if it takes this long to complete a project...

TST! TST! TST!

The one thing I can say for EDGE is they SHOULD have all the bugs out, they make an excellent product but I know from experience that the JUICE for the 6. 0 wasnt perfect when it made its apperance. I really know they have lost alot of business from the PMCR due to late relese and putting people off. But if the JUICE was out for my truck a while ago I probably would have it but I am VERY VERY pleased with my PMCR and absolutly no regrets!

Question from a diesel newbie. I've had my 2003 2500 4x4 Quadcab, SO, 48RE for a year now. LOVE IT... but i never leave anything stock for long. I installed the Banks 4" monster exhaust, and AFE intake system. also 285-70-17 BFG all terrains, and Bilstein shocks.

I want to install one of the performance boxes, but am still too chicken to go real big.

Do any of you have an opinion on a conservative electronic performance upgrade? Are there any worthwhile enhancements that don't require installing gauges?

I won't be racing, but I love acceleration, and tow medium loads quite a bit.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

There is nothing you can do that doesn't require gauges---- you even "can't" drive a STOCK truck without installing gauges!

Kidding aside; you really should have gauges if for no other reason then to know what your operating parameters are when "normal" so you will be able to tell when something isn't right.

That said; there are quite a few mild boxes. Even the TST box is mild if you can keep from bumping it up into the bigger numbers. There's a thread here somewhere that does a box comparison; a search will turn it up.

WR STRONG.

I am not an expert by any means, but I was in the exact same boat you are in. Too chicken to go BOMBS away but still wanted some more power. I finally went with the Diesel Dynamics TTPM. I installed it at 15k miles and now have 10k on it and could not be more pleased. Have pulled a 12k toy hauler 8 times on level 2 with no EGT problems and run around empty on level 4. I agree with everyone else though that if you are going to do ANY enhancements at all to your rig, start with gauges.

Hope this helps

Scott
