all i know,which is nothing,id be happy with 500 ponies but if a friend of mine or anyone else tried to come around me in a ford or chevy id get my credit card out. . after all is said and done lets see whos lasts longer,cummins and cat tried allum heads along time ago... . where are they now..... im a truck driver and all i can say is if it aint in line it wont be at the top of the hill with the others,v 8s feel good but they wont outlast a in6... ok im done ranting
 
Juice is a good guy. I've never seen him talk all of the BS that most of you guys do. No one even "called anybody out" they were just trying to share something that they are excited about. At least Juice, Nathan, and the Kondolays are putting their money where their mouth is and aren't riding on others coat tails. They are making a huge advance in the DMax performance world, this is fact, and I wouldn't exactly call these humble beginnings. It's always amazing how people say they love diesel performance and then they blow the whistle on something just because it's a different brand of truck. :(

I also found out that NO ONE before Juice had double stacked on a D-MAX. He's going where no D-Max has gone. WTG JUICE :D When Juice was putting out 550 on PDR he went the D-Max site to share what he learned and ALL they did was call him FOS. He's a part of the www.NWBombeers.com if you want to ask him any ????? BTW He's a great guy too
 
Not my truck, just a good friend, and i'm not going to get into how big, what turbos, and so on because its not my money, nor my truck, but i will say months ago. Its been off the jackstands,cheesehead. :-laf
 
With all that power... he's going to need a sippy cup! Those juice boxes are known for leaking under heavy acceleration...

I'll send an extra $15. 00 with my order so you can put speakers on the computer. That will make it easier to tell when Mr. Juice mashes the pedal. But if you would like, I am sure that he would be happy to include some kind of hand or perhaps finger gesture in his next video to signal the starting point. Guys in the Northwest are always willing to help.

God, jealousy on this board is amazing..... I'm glad theres finally some competition and hope that I get to be smoked by the TwinMax someday...



Not to start a total war here, but a 550 hp Dmax on a stock charger is noting special, I know of 2 in the dirty South owned by one guy, and one of those makes 750 with a little spray-- :cool: :cool:



They are REALLY formidable machines, and I'm glad someone was able to twin one-

550 RWHP, stock charger, stock injectors, ONE BOX, NO DRUGS.





Now, is your buddy doing that?

Would you release propriatary info about something you've designed that is going to make you money, but less money when some douche steals your ideas, or wait until you've got them ready to go and a few out the door, then release it?



You are right about the efficiency, but I have no reason to doubt Juice. He used to run above 2000*F on the pyro... many people have seen it. He now says he's at 1200*F. Is he stefan?



The system is setup to run 40 psi... thats where it sits now. If he clamps stuff down claim is 80+... I believe it. Heck, 80+ on a Cummins is nothing, why not a TwinMax?

I only know 2 Dmax's that truly know what a lot of FUEL is. None of them are in Canada at this time.



Lets put it this way 60psi and a 110pill of N20 won't clear them up! :--)



I think it is awesome to see a Dmax with twins though. I do think the hype is a little silly. After all it made 53x on the dyno.

I counted 14 seconds from the time he mashet it around 12MPH 'til he hit 100MPH (not KMH). Most realize you won't be as fast 10-100 as you would be launching from a dead stop. I would venture this truck could easily run sub 14s.

If you know it made 53X on the dyno then you probably know the Edge box he was running was set to defuel at 990* or so (which we found out later) and it wouldn't stay locked in 5th. That translates into about 27-2800rpms when the Edge box cut fuel. So in less than 700rpms he made 531hp. I wouldn't call that bad at all. It takes me twice that long in my Dodge to reach full power.



As far as the hype goes you might be right but Juice is a little excited. I talk to him almost every night about tuning and ideas for his truck since he got the twins on.

He ran 110mph in the 1/4 using his Attitude monitor (which I dont know the accuracy of). His ET was slow at 14. XX but he left from an idle and it spun on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shifts. If I leave from a idle in my '02 I run similar mph and in the high 13's to 14's on ET. I've run low 12's with that truck so Juice's rig should go in the 12's with a good launch. He was probably in at least 3rd gear already (the Allisons shift way early under light throttle) and he rolled into the throttle to prevent a downshift and subsequent tire spin. So with no boost and rolling on the throttle from 12-100mph at 14 seconds isn't bad, especially starting in a pretty high gear.

He must have a very special box... ... ... ... :p



The guy I know of is on stock charger and injectors, but has 2 boxes
